What I collect, why I collect it, who touches it, and how to get it removed.

1. The short version
Fiveday is a one-person studio. I collect only what I need to talk to you, bill you, and build your work — and I don't sell or rent any of it, ever.
This page is maintained by Fiveday to answer common privacy questions about the site and the subscription. Email lisa@fivedaydesign.com with anything it doesn't cover.
2. What I collect
Contact details: your name, email address, company, and anything you write when you email me or book a call.
Project brief information: everything you submit through the onboarding form — company background, brand context, goals, links, approvals, and any files, logos or source material you upload.
Billing information: subscription status, plan, invoices and payment history. Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and never touch my systems.
Basic technical data: standard server and hosting logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used to keep the site working and secure.
3. How I use it
To respond to enquiries and schedule the kickoff call; to design, build and deliver your requests; to process subscription payments, refunds and cancellations; to send service messages about your project or account; and to keep the site secure and functioning.
I do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and I do not sell or share it with data brokers.
4. Who processes data on my behalf
Stripe — subscription billing, payments and the customer billing portal.
The managed cloud platform that hosts this site, its database and private file storage for your uploads.
Google Workspace — email, calendar bookings and document storage.
Slack — project communication where you prefer it.
Design and production tools used to create your deliverables, including Adobe, Canva, CapCut, Runway and ElevenLabs, and AI assistants such as Claude and Perplexity for research and drafting support.
Each provider only receives what it needs to perform its function, and each is bound by its own terms and security commitments.
5. Confidentiality of your brief
Brief responses and uploaded files are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible and is readable only by me through an authenticated studio dashboard.
Unreleased product plans, financials and brand work are treated as confidential and are not shared outside the providers listed above.
6. Cookies and analytics
The site uses only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in to your account portal and to complete checkout securely. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.
7. How long it's kept
Project briefs, uploads and delivered work are kept for the life of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards so I can support what I built for you.
Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Everything else is deleted when it is no longer needed.
8. Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask for corrections, ask for deletion of your brief and uploads, or opt out of non-essential email at any time. Email lisa@fivedaydesign.com and I'll handle it personally.
Cancelling your subscription in the billing portal stops future billing; ask separately if you also want your stored brief and files removed.
9. Security
Access to project data requires authentication, uploads live in private storage, and payments are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so if something ever goes wrong I will tell affected clients directly and promptly.
10. Children
This is a business service and is not directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it, and active clients are notified by email.
